Russian Government Cup 1996 spelades i Archangelsk och Severodvinsk i Ryssland under perioden 31 januari-4 februari 1996, och vanns av Sverige. I finalen mellan Ryssland och Sverige tog Ryssland ledningen med 4-0, men Sverige vände och vann med 5-4 sedan Jonas Claesson avgjort för svenskarna.[1]
