Français : OCÉAN ATLANTIQUE (23 mai 2021) : les navires du Groupe maritime permanent 1 de l'OTAN (SNMG1), le HDMS Absalon et le FS Normandie effectuent des manœuvres de flotte et d'autres séries d'entraînement au large des côtes du Portugal le 23 mai 2021 lors de l'exercice Steadfast Defender 21 (STDE21). Les navires participent à la phase d'entraînement à l'amélioration du combat/intégration de la force de STDE21, un exercice défensif basé sur un scénario de l'article 5 qui est conçu pour dissuader l'agression et répondre à la crise si nécessaire. L'exercice en direct maritime de STDE21 se déroule du 20 au 30 mai 2021 dans les eaux au large de Lisbonne, au Portugal. English: ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 23, 2021) Standing NATO Maritime Group One (SNMG1) ships HDMS Absalon and FS Normandie conduct fleet manoeuvres and other training serials off the coast of Portugal on May 23, 2021 during Exercise Steadfast Defender 21 (STDE21). The ships are participating in the Combat Enhancement/Force Integration Training Phase of STDE21, a defensive exercise based on an Article 5 scenario which is designed to deter aggression and respond to crisis if necessary.
