Brandgul nystmask (Cephalothrix rufifrons)[1][2][3][4] är en djurart som tillhör fylumet slemmaskar, och som först beskrevs av Johnston 1837. Enligt Catalogue of Life[5][6] ingår Brandgul nystmask i släktet Cephalothrix och familjen Cephalothricidae,[5][6] men enligt Dyntaxa[7] är tillhörigheten istället släktet Cephalothrix, och ordningen Palaeonemertea.[7] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[7] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[5]
